ADA IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

Entero Architects is serving as the design consultant and Project Architect, alongside COAR Design Group and RS+M, the project lead and aquatic consultant, which involves the renovation and accessibility upgrade of the El Cerrito public pool facility. The scope focuses on restoring the aquatic infrastructure and ensuring full ADA compliance for key components of the facility, improving safety and usability for all patrons.

Project Scope Includes:

• Replastering of the pool surface to restore performance and extend lifespan

• ADA-compliant upgrades to restrooms, showers, locker rooms, and accessible paths of travel

• Installation of accessible pool lifts and improved site access points

• Coordination with local agencies to ensure compliance with CBC Chapter 11B and other applicable regulations

 

 

This project reflects the City of El Cerrito’s investment in maintaining safe, functional, and code-compliant recreational infrastructure for the public.
